I’ve put a couple of paintings up on eBay at some very attractive prices. Also I’ve lowered some prices on some paintings in my Etsy store.

In other news I did a short interview that you can read on a site called Art Bastard. Check out the site it has a bunch of great interviews with a lot of great artists. Most of the artists were new to me, so it was good fun.

Show Got Canceled Sale

Hello all, happy 2008! Well, I was supposed to have a show at a local gallery in Charlotte this month, but it got canceled. The reasons for the cancellation are a long story that I’d rather not go into. On the good side it enables me to put more work up on my website. I’ve updated the store with some of the work from the canceled show and some from returning work I just received this week.

Hope everyone has a happy and healthy 2008 and look for more new work on my site through out the year.

NeighborWood Piece For Sale

In December I participated in a show at Compound Gallery in Portland, OR called Mike Burnett’s NeighborWood. Each artist was given a wood sculpture to paint and decorate in there own style. Well, the show was up for a month and my piece didn’t sell and the gallery sent it back to me. So i’m putting it for sale in my store if anybody is interested.

I’ve added two new smashed can paintings to the store. Both have the same character in them, but with different collage elements around them. Forcast is in red tones and Goodluck is in blue tones and each is $120.00 + $5.00 US Shipping.

I’ve also resolved to do a better job photographing and documenting my work this year. So, I purchased a pair of lights to better light my work while photographing it. I used the lights for the first time on the above photos. I think they are much better, but I still think I can improve on these photos. Maybe later in the year I’ll spring for one of those fancy digital SLR cameras.

I’ve added two new paintings to the store. Both are 4″x4″ on canvas, one is called “Red Skully” and the other “Blue Skully”.

I’ve printed t-shirts! The shirts are printed on high quality American Apparel t-shirts in a beautiful slate color with darker gray ink. They’re available in my store section in M,L, and XL. Also I’ve added a couple of new pieces to the store today.

I’ve updated the store with three new additions. Sup! is a piece that was done on illustration board and it has a nice white matt and frame. Also added is a canvas piece called Blue and a smashed beverage can called Debriefing.

Did a little house cleaning in the store, deleting the sold items and adding one new smashed beverage can painting called Destruction. Take a look at the new addition.

Additions to the Store

I’ve added seven additional paintings to the store. Some were done as recently as this weekend and a couple that are from last year. The painting called Extra Lives was produced last weekend and is larger then most of the pieces I’ve done in the past. I’m quite please with the outcome of the piece and plan to do additional larger works in the future.
